Need Urgent Transport Facilities to Transport Relief Items for IDPs
National Disaster Relief Services Centre (NDRSC) is the mandatory organization of all relief activities of Natural and Man-Made Disasters in Sri Lanka.
We are currently transporting Relief Items donated by Individuals / Institutes / Organizations by our lorries and making arrangements to hand over to Government Agent, Vavuniya to be distributed among Internally Displaced Persons.
In order provide efficient transport facilities, we need additionnal lorries to be deployed in this exercise.
Hence we make an appeal to N.G.O.s / Organizations/Individuals to provide lorries free of charge to transport relief items to Vavuniya from Colombo.
